Once upon a time, there was a magical place called Oz - where (some) animals could talk, (most) people didn't die, and magic was very real, if just a little silly. Witches, good and bad, traveled the land in search of shiny footwear, monkeys flew the skies, mice ruled the fields, homeless men and rainbow's children wandered freely. Of course, this was before a lone girl from Kansas flew in, and with a little help from her friends, dropped her house on a witch, deposed another, and then exposed the leader of the land as the fraudulent Wizard he was. She even got the shiny silver ruby slippers.

The land of Oz, as imagined by L. Frank Baum (as well as countless others), is a silly, fun, scary and magical place. My random doodles are done out of fun and fandom, and nothing else. Besides, Flying Monkeys do make great pets - as long as you don't have to wear the funny golden hat.
